The Gippsland Environment Group is concerned about the continuing degradation of our local environment.

Our objectives are to promote the best environmental practices to improve environmental health and maintain high biodiversity for the future.

Our main aims include:

1. To promote conservation aims and environmental understanding.

2. To raise awareness of the Gippsland environment and the threats it faces.

3. To promote environmental, social and economic sustainability,

4. To make presentation to the appropriate levels of government regarding local environmental issues.

5. To carry out research and work which is appropriate to the above.

6. To network with other individuals and groups having similar objectives.

 

The Gippsland Environment Group welcomes new members with a keen environmental interest and passion for conservation.

Meetings are held monthly.
